Heading out after a last gear check and breakfast. We have a 2-3 hour drive then we begin. Everyone is in good spirits and the one missing bag from the KLM flight finally made it this morning, which is good news for our teammate Sam.
I took my last shower this morning. It was awesome and devastating at the same time. Those who know me well know how much I like being clean. Thank goodness we have a super fancy spot in Zanzibar to look forward to!
Off to Kili. Had a fun night with Pat and friends. He did the US proud on the 4th by sporting my hideous Statue of Liberty tank top from Caroline's Wild and Free(dom) party. I thought it only fitting to re-gift the tank as a thank you for his hospitality. Seems he thought so too.
Abu the driver and I passed this van on the way to the airport. I like the message not only because of the misspelling but also for the content. Do one good deed a day. It's a good goal.
